The Northland Region is comprised of 1,383 High School and College Campuses. Our 10 Year Target is aimed at Mobilizing an FCA volunteer on each of these campuses with the goal of sharing Jesus and making disciples.
Beyond campuses, there are countless opportunities to minister in off campus settings through League and Clubs sports, Action Sports, Motor Sports, Outdoor Sports, Pro and Elite Sports and All Ability Sports. Our strategy for disciple making allows FCA to be effective in each of these environments.
As we continue to strive to stay relevant in the sports world, we are seeking funding for an Every Generation Campaign around 3 critical areas; People, Programs, and Places.
REGIONAL LEADERSHIP
TO ADVANCE THE FIELD
Where the right leaders are, the right stuff happens. As the Northland continues to grow, it's vital that we have key current and future regional leadership positions fully funded so that our leaders are here to stay.
EFFECTIVE TEAM
It’s critical that we have a development mindset for the Northland team. We must invest in staff, donors, volunteers, student athletes and ministry programs.
A LEAGUES AND
CLUB SPORTS
We are seeking to provide for a facility feasibility study in each state. If a facility is found to be a viable option, a separate campaign will be created.
Matthew 9:38, “therefore, pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” is a constant prayer.
The Lord has been very faithful in continuing to bring those workers. For the first time, the Region has surpassed the 100th staff member this year. As the Lord answers the prayer, we want to constantly be developing those workers to be great ministers of the Gospel and to always be ready to take on more leadership.
To assure this takes place, we have three settings for development that incurs cost. Those settings are our annual all staff Gathering, Director Spring Training, and staff Quarterlies. These settings are critical to the ongoing development of our staff.
Financial need: $40K
As a region, we talk a lot about putting the right people in the right seat and getting everyone rowing in the same direction.
To assure this is happening, we invest into an operating system called EOS. EOS provides essential tools and software to help us operate as a team at a high level.
Financial Need $10K
For 70 years, God has been using FCA camps to transform the lives of Coaches and Athletes. In 2024, the Northland Region had 3,824 Coaches and Athletes attend camp.
As a region, we want to invest $10K for the Northland Sports Camp in Minneapolis, $10K to the Black Hills Sports Camp in South Dakota and $20K into the Northland Leadership Camp.
These funds will help offset cost necessary to continue these camps with great excellence.
Financial Need $40K
It’s vital to have a fund available to be able to seed new positions, allowing the staff time to raise their ongoing personal support. Our strategy is to have $20,000 available for each of the 2 new positions we will be looking to hire in 2025 for the Regional Director of Donor and Board Advancement and the Regional Director of Sport.
Financial Need: $40K

God has called FCA to reach “Every” Coach and Athlete. This powerful mission has launched FCA into a new adventure of launching ministry in off campus situations. Today, 60 million athletes participate in youth sports with a huge percentage of those happening in an off campus setting like Leagues and Clubs. With this new adventure, we are exploring opportunities to have FCA facilities to host these new opportunities. We have partnered with Sports Facilities Companies (SFA) to help us process through these opportunities. We are seeking $20,000 for each of our 4 states to cover the cost of the initial assessment stage for these facilities. If this initial phase makes it clear that we have a need for the facility, then we will launch a campaign to help meet the long-term need for the facility.
